I wish I could take credit for the answer to this question.
However a friend of mine answered this question back in 2008.

The Question:

Will I really go to Hell for something I simply cannot believe?
How is this free will?

The Bible says that God gives us free will to choose whether or not to believe and accept that Jesus is the Son of God. Whether or not to believe He was sent to earth to die for our sins. But can anyone honestly tell me that they can force themselves to believe something?

Given the current available evidence, I simply cannot force myself to believe the claims of the Bible. So, how exactly has God given me free will to choose my eternal fate? You either believe something or you don't. You can't "choose" to believe. Sure, I can go through the motions. I can pray, go to church, tell myself over and over again that I accept Jesus Christ as my savior, but if I don't actually believe it, what's the point?

By Jerry Sanders

I happen to currently be living outside the USA.

Where I am located the tax system is very different.

I have tried to explain The US Federal Income Tax system and all the paper work/forms everyone in the U.S. has to file even if one did not make a penny.

A lot of people here think I am making the whole thing up, especially the penalties for not filing even if the person did not make anything. Here if one did not make any money (or below a certain amount) there is no requirement to file the tax forms.

What really makes the people here the believe that I am just making everything up about the U.S. Tax system, is when I tell them what all I really went through with a tax audit. A multi year tax audit because of a mistake that the IRS auditors made (not my mistake).

The people tell me that they know I am making the stories up, or exaggerating, because "THEY KNOW" the US government is not that chaotic or unfair.

So, in with regards to your question, just because the people here have chosen to believe I am making up the stories about the IRS, does that mean that the organization does not exist?

Or if any of the people here ever move to and work in the USA does their choice not to believe what I have said mean that they will not have to file and pay taxes?

To the people here, right now, the stories of the IRS are a myth, or an exaggeration. It does not matter how many people tell them about the organization or some of the horror stories about dealing with the organization. Many of the people here simply are not going to believe anything we say about the IRS. It will not be until they personally "cross over" to the USA that they see and understand for themselves the realities of what we have told them.

There have been doubters of God's existence since the Old Testament days. Even some of them said that all the god's were myths and superstitions. However, somehow, for some reason, unlike the other gods that have come and gone through out history, one "non-existent" God keeps being very persistent about not going away. Could that maybe, just perhaps, mean anything?

Just something to think about.

May Our Creator watch over you and your family.
