What is The Baha'i Faith?

According to bahai.org:

The Baha'i Faith, founded by Baha'u'llah, represents essentially the renewal of religion with teachings relevant to contemporary needs and the requirements of humanity's collective future. It rests on a broad base of sacred scriptures that both nourish the soul and provide laws and principles of social interaction.

The Baha'i Faith is the youngest of the world's independent religions. Its founder, Baha'u'llah (1817-1892), is regarded by Baha'is as the most recent in the line of Messengers of God that stretches back beyond recorded time and that includes Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ, and Muhammad.
